Replacer, Misplacer, and Emplacer Beasts

Variant forms of the classic Displacer Beast, they are indistinguishable from a Displacer, but they may choose to cause a magical effect (Save to negate) instead of damage, when striking with their tentacles.

Replacer: Strike at any weapon or  magical item being used against them (additional -1TH vs target),
instantly replacing the item with something innocuous, roll (d4) or select from table.  Replaced items revert to normal after ten rounds, or upon death of the Beast, more dickish DMs may require that the replacement items be in unspoiled condition at this time...  "Oh no, looks like your flowers are wilting /ice cream is melting / balloon must Save or pop!"
1. Bouquet of Flowers
2. Ice Cream Cone
3. Tethered Helium Balloon
4. Exotic Bird Plume

Misplacer: Attacks as the Replacer, but items struck are (temporarily?) lost.  Consult numbered map key, and either add, or subtract (fifty-fifty chance), 1d6.  That's where the item is now, possibly in the hands of whatever occupies this area.

Emplacer:  This dread Beast does not strike at items, but at whomever attacks it.  Upon a successful hit and failed Save, the target creature is Teleported away, destination determined as per Misplacer.

There are rumored to be subspecies of the Emplacer Beast:
1. Commonplacer; teleports targets to nearest empty room
2. Marketplacer; teleports targets to nearest tradepost, bazaar, etc
3. Birthplacer; teleports targets to their place of birth
4. Noplacer; causes persons to vanish from existence
